Does the heater serve your unit or the building?
Before requesting a replacement, find out whether the unit has its own heater or receives hot water from shared equipment. Photograph the accessible label without opening electrical covers. If other units report the same symptom, involve building management; a replacement inside your unit may not address a shared-system problem.
Capacity is only one part of choosing a replacement
Describe how hot water runs out: at one shower, after consecutive showers or while several fixtures operate together. That pattern helps frame the assessment. Tankless conversion also needs a review of the installation’s electrical or gas capacity and other requirements; it is not automatically a direct swap for an existing tank.
Make the equipment route part of the appointment
In a condo, removal and delivery may depend on an elevator reservation, storage space and a coordinated shutoff. For an owner-managed rental, choose a confirmed work window before promising guests the property will be ready. Share the building contact and equipment location with our Naples team.
